About Madeleine
I have been passionate about playing the saxophone for two thirds of my life and I want to pass on this joy of playing and music.
I have a classical education behind me. The jazz muse also kissed me a few years ago. In the meantime I can also pass on basic knowledge in improvisation and music theory.
I am interested in music and instruments from all over the world, I like to discover, play and learn many new instruments. My interests range from classical and contemporary music, to improvisation and states of flow, to composition, loop stations and computer music.
I am studying popular music at the Johann-Josef-Fux Conservatory in Graz. In my younger years I attended postgraduate classical saxophone studies.
I love making street music. I also live my life as a visual artist and am creative yet neat and organised, humorous, interested, patient and attentive.
I believe that a good teacher-student relationship is important for the enjoyment of gaming. We'd love to get to know each other :)

It doesn't matter whether you're a beginner or a few years old; - I'll get you there, where you are; - take you where you like.
I love music from all over the world and will try to meet your musical interests as much as possible.
Children and adults are welcome. I am flexible in terms of time, units (50 minutes each) can also be divided or blocked.
Music lesson with me in the Haus-WG-Villa (with sauna and pool ;)) in 8042 Graz, St. Peter;- if in the area, I'll come by moped;- or simply online.

Perfect! Madeleine has shown a ton of patience with me as I learn to play the xaphoon. She takes a wonderfully flexible approach to teaching the basics of music theory, answering random questions and tailoring exercises to push me where I need it.

Madeleine ist ein absoluter Superprof! Ich bewundere ihr Saxofon-Spiel schon seit einigen Jahren und habe nun die glückliche Gelegenheit, sie als Saxofon-Lehrerin und Jazz-Mentorin gefunden zu haben.
Mit ihrem herrlich strukturierten und professionell gestalteten Unterricht ermöglicht sie mir den Einstieg in ein neues musikalisches Feld. Ihr Stil ist ruhig und fokussiert, sie hat endlose Geduld, und weiß genau, was die blutige Saxofon-Anfängerin benötigt, um sich mit dem neuen Instrument schnell wohler zu fühlen.
In den Einheiten konzentriert sich Madeleine auf eine perfekt ausgeführte Technik von Anfang an, legt ebenso Wert auf das Verständnis von Musiktheorie (inkl. Jazz-Theorie – was ich äußerst schätze!). Und hat dabei einen sehr musikalischen, künstlerischen und entspannten Zugang zum Musizieren – eine gute Balance von effizientem Lernen und Genießen!
Ich bin beeindruckt von Madeleines Talent als Saxofonistin und Lehrerin gleichermaßen, und würde sie zu 100 % empfehlen.Madeleine ist eine super Saxofon-Lehrerin.
Sie nimmt sich Zeit und hat auch viel Geduld, was in meinem Fall wichtig ist. :)
Jeder, der Saxofon spielen lernen, oder auch sein Spielen verbessern möchte, ist bei ihr gut aufgehoben.
5/5Der Xaphoon Unterricht bei Madeleine hat mir sehr viel Freude gemacht. Madeleine unterrichtet sehr klar, ruhig und strukturiert. Sie ist auf alle meine Fragen eingegangen. Ich war überrascht, dass der Unterricht auch online sehr gut funktioniert. Ich habe in schon wenigen Unterrichtseinheit, viel gelernt und konnte es auf dem Instrument gleich umsetzen. Ich kann den Unterricht bei Madeleine nur empfehlen!!!
Madeleine ist eine einfühlsame, hochbegabte Musikerin, in Klassik, Jazz und Pop zu Hause - eine richtige Allrounderin.
