About Just
Hi, my name is Jae’lyn. You may call me Ms. Jae. Please do not use any other name. Thank you. I am currently in high school.
I have been helping and teaching others for 6 years, especially in English. I specialize in essay writing and poetry, and I work with middle school students to help them improve their writing skills and build confidence.
Outside of academics, I used to do track and field as a sprinter, running the 100m and 200m. I also enjoy playing badminton and tennis. One of my favorite things to watch is football. I love to sing, enjoy other creative activities, and I really love fashion.

I focus on making English easy to understand and less stressful by breaking down essay writing and poetry into simple steps. My teaching method is patient and supportive, and I use real examples, guided practice, and creative prompts to help students build confidence and improve their writing skills.
A typical lesson starts with a quick warm-up (like a short writing prompt or review), followed by a focused skill for the day such as essay structure, grammar, or poetry analysis. Then we practice together, and I give step-by-step feedback so the student understands exactly how to improve. We end with a short independent activity to apply what was learned.
What sets me apart is that I’ve been helping and teaching others for 6 years, so I understand how to explain things in a way that actually makes sense to students. I’m also close in age, which helps me relate to middle school students and make learning feel more comfortable and less intimidating.
These lessons are for middle school students who want to improve their essay writing, learn how to write poetry, or build stronger overall English skills and confidence in writing.
