As a tutor, I take a highly personalized and student-centered approach. My teaching method is rooted in making math accessible, engaging, and confidence-building—whether the student is catching up or pushing ahead. I start by assessing each student’s strengths and challenges, then tailor my instruction style accordingly. I incorporate a blend of problem-solving, visual aids, math games, and real-world applications to reinforce concepts and make learning more interactive.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by a focused deep-dive into current topics or areas of concern. We work through examples together, and then I guide students through solving similar problems independently. I always leave time for questions and discussion, and I provide take-home practice as needed.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students at all levels—from elementary school to college-level courses. I’ve taken advanced mathematics courses at the University of Pennsylvania (up to Advanced Calculus IV), and I understand how to break down complex concepts into simple, intuitive steps. I’ve also had experience with standardized tests like the SAT and ACT, and I offer targeted strategies for those exams.
