About Keiko
I have been writing since third grade and still spend at least an hour writing every day. I plan to pursue a career in law while also becoming a published author. At 15, I founded the Young Authors' Alliance, a global youth writing organization that provides creative writing opportunities and resources to students in more than 20 countries.
I am currently an undergraduate student at Wellesley College, one of the top liberal arts schools and women's colleges in the United States, where I am pursuing a double major in English and Creative Writing and Peace and Justice Studies.
Over the years, I have done extensive research on college admissions and have helped more than 45 students with college essays, summer program applications, and personal writing projects. Students I have worked with have gone on to attend highly selective universities and programs. I also attended the Telluride Association Summer Seminar (TASS), one of the most prestigious humanities summer programs in the world for high school students, with an acceptance rate of roughly 2%, where I participated in a college-level seminar focused on Black feminism and storytelling.
I work with students of all experience levels. My philosophy is that I will never write for a student. Instead, I help students develop their own ideas, strengthen their writing, and communicate their stories in an authentic and compelling way. In a world where AI is replacing critical thought and the literary arts, I will make sure your writing stands out from dozens of other applicants who generate their work. Whether a student is applying to college, a competitive summer program, or simply looking to grow as a writer, my goal is to help them refine their vision and produce their strongest work.

I help students with college essays, supplemental essays, scholarship applications, summer program applications, and creative writing. My approach is very hands on and focuses on helping students find and communicate their authentic voice. We work through brainstorming exercises, outlining, storytelling, structure, grammar, revision, and detailed feedback. Students will leave with highly personalized writing to their style, that is polished and meaningful.
I am an English and Creative Writing undergraduate student at a top liberal arts school and the Founder and CEO of the Young Authors' Alliance, a global literary arts organization. Students I have worked with have gone on to attend universities including Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Duke, NYU, USC, UC Berkeley, Northwestern, UCLA, Columbia, and more, as well as highly selective summer programs.
Lessons are best for middle and high school students who want personalized support at any stage of the writing process, whether they are starting from scratch or polishing a final draft.
