About Chetna
Hi, I'm Chetna! By the name you might not believe I'm a native Italian speaker but you'd be surprised :) I speak four languages so I understand and have dealt with learning new languages.
I was a private tutor for a couple of years, and I have completed all my education in Italy with a focus on literature and poetry.
I am passionate about teaching Italian just because I think the language is beautiful (I'm very biased, I know). I can plan lessons to be focused on grammar, conversation or literature as well.

My lessons tend to be about 30-40 minutes long and more frequent. You can only learn so much in one lesson.
The first half is focus on vocabulary and grammar, and then the second half is practical exercises and speaking practice. I usually also provide easy to read notes with examples and additional exercises to do outside of the lesson and review in our next lessons.
Depending on what you're trying to achieve, I can make the lessons more focused on every day phrases and conversational aspects, but I can also add some lessons on Italian literature, music, poetry! You name it, I'm passionate about it all.
I usually tend to teach adults, but happy to work with teenage kids too. I did a couple of years of private tutoring and conversation partnering. I also have done all my schooling in Italy (I'm a native speaker), and my focus has been Italian literature and poetry.
