About Caterina
Hi there! I’m Caterina An Italian–Spanish student with roots in Milan and Madrid, I’ve always loved exploring different cultures and languages. Right now, I’m in my third year of a Bachelor in Management at ESCP Business School in London, and I’ve also studied in Spain, France, and the UK. Moving around has not only boosted my adaptability but also made me realise how exciting it is to connect with people through language. I’ve worked in marketing, events, and even the fashion industry, where I learned how creativity and communication go hand in hand. Those experiences definitely influence the way I teach: lessons are structured and effective, but I always try to keep them fun, engaging, and full of real-life examples. I speak English, Italian, and Spanish fluently (and I’m learning French, Arabic, and German too—so I know exactly what it feels like to be in your shoes as a language learner!). That’s why my approach is both supportive and motivating: I want you to feel confident, enjoy the process, and actually look forward to each lesson. I usually offer online lessons of about an hour, but we can go longer if you want to dive deeper. My students range from beginners to advanced learners, and I tailor each session to your level, goals, and interests. Outside of teaching, you’ll probably find me behind a camera (I’m into photography) or involved in volunteering projects. I love bringing creativity, teamwork, and cross-cultural exchange into everything I do. Techniques and teaching methodology: My approach combines a fun and engaging atmosphere with a structured and serious focus on progress. I believe that learning is most effective when students are motivated and enjoy the process, so I use interactive activities, real-life examples, and plenty of speaking practice. At the same time, I make sure that grammar, vocabulary, and cultural aspects are covered thoroughly. Typical length of a lesson: Lessons are usually one hour long, but I am happy to extend the time depending on the student’s needs and goals. Qualifications/experience as a tutor: I have several years of experience as a tutor, having worked as an Italian and Spanish teacher. In addition, my own extensive personal experience as a language learner has given me valuable insight into the challenges students face and how to overcome them. Who the lessons are for: My lessons are suitable for learners of different levels and ages. Whether you are a beginner who wants to build a foundation, an intermediate student aiming to improve fluency, or an advanced learner looking to refine your skills, I adapt the content to your level and learning style.
