About Francesca

I am Italian but I grew up abroad (from 4 to 14 years old) and I attended english compulsory school in the United States and Malta.
I basically learned to read and write in English before I learned to write in Italian, and by learning as a child I acquired a native pronunciation that I
never lost, continuing to practice it even when I returned to Italy. I love reading a lot and I have never stopped reading books in English. I don't watch dubbed films if I can avoid it (even if they are not in English: I love listening to the actors act in their own language).
I don't use English in my office job but I've been an Airbnb superhost for over 10 years and meeting people from all over the world has helped me keep my English in good shape.
Finally, another passion of mine since I was a little girl is singing, obviously in English.
I have been singing in a choir with an American repertoire and I am a point of reference for my classmates for the correct pronunciation of songs.
I am a good listener, very patient but also very attentive to mistakes and able to correct and help the student improve their conversation skills in an easy and pleasant way, without
anxiety.

I am available for online conversation lessons for children (I am a mother of college kids), teenagers and adults.

We will start with a general conversation to get to know each other and to allow me to understand your needs. Then we will define together the topics we can talk about. We can also watch videos and read together, to practice your ability to understand and summarize in English.
