About Paola
I am an online Italian teacher. I am a native speaker of Italian, I was born and grew up in the northern part of Italy. I am a professional qualified teacher who graduated in Italy (B.A. in Modern Languages & Literature) and in the U.S.A. ( M.A. in English with a concentration in TESOL).
I am very passionate about my work and have more than sixteen years of successful experience in teaching Italian to speakers of other languages.
Besides giving private lessons, I have also worked in various schools in the U.S. and in the U.K. teaching young people, university students, and especially adults. I have taught all levels, from beginning to advanced.

As a teacher, I’m very patient, good at making clear difficult grammar concepts and at creating a pleasant, friendly atmosphere with my learners. I love teaching young people and adults via Skype or other video chat platform.
My lessons are always customized to meet my student’s specific language needs (conversation, vocabulary, grammar) and goals (proficiency, survival skills) each time.
During the online sessions, and as planned from time to time, I can help my learners with their listening, speaking, reading and/or writing skills; but I am also available to correct written homework between lessons to further benefit my students.
