About Anais
Ciao! I’m an Italian native with a French degree and a passion for languages. Growing up trilingual (Italian, French, and Provencal dialect), I developed a "natural" ear for linguistics that I now use to help my students succeed. Having studied Russian and English myself, I understand the hurdles of learning a new language. My approach focuses on real-world interaction. Since 2019, I’ve helped students of all ages in the UK gain the confidence to speak like locals and I love seeing the results and joy that it brings to people. Let's start speaking today!

Based on my experiences with languages, I believe the hardest part is the transition from "studying" to "speaking." That is why my lessons are communication-led. We don't just memorize lists; we simulate real-world scenarios that prepare you for travel, work, and connection.
By beginning each session with an organic conversation, I can identify your specific areas for improvement and target those 'tricky points' with tailored corrections and activities to make it more fun and interactive. Learning languages shouldn't be boring as they allow us to travel and discover the world!

Perfect! Only two classes so far but her classes have been well prepared with good supporting material. Enjoyable.
- I have now had a few lessons with Mike and Tricia who are a lovely and interesting couple. They are very motivated to learn and don’t hesitate to try speaking in Italian. They are also enthusiastic and happy to do more work in between lessons. I have been enjoying doing lessons with them and am looking forward to seeing more progress.Anais's response :

Perfect! Anais is a very organized, dedicated and experienced tutor. I enjoy her communicative, helpful teaching style. She visibly knows the Italian language very well and is helping me improve a lot quickly. She immediately noticed what my strengths and weaknesses are and is pushing me to work on the latter whilst not being overwhelming. Her weekly "homework" is a great way for me to feel prepared for the next lesson and work on my Italian in my own time. I look forward to sessions with her and afterwards always feel like I have gained new understanding of Italian. She has been observant of what I need to work on but also allows me the flexibility to request aspects I would like to cover. Overall, I have been very happy with my tutoring experience with Anais so far.

Anais is a wonderful person and teacher. She provides tailored homework after sessions which help consolidate and develop linguistic skills. During lessons she is focused on ensuring that you understand all the content. She has a relaxed yet professional attitude and does not ‘clock watch’; she will happily overrun to ensure you have finished a certain exercise or topic. I have learnt a lot in a short term during my lessons with Anais and cannot

Anais is a patient and encouraging tutor. Since starting our lessons my confidence speaking Italian has really improved. Our lessons are well structured and varied, covering grammar, conversation and translation. I’ve also learned more about Italian culture which has been an unexpected bonus!
Despite learning for a few years, I have struggled with using French in conversation. Anaïs has helped me work on my speaking and listening skills with appropriate prompts and exercises tailored to my needs. She pushed me when I needed it and remained patient throughout the lessons. I would highly recommend her to any student looking to improve their French language skills.
