About Onceuponatime
My journey as an educator has been shaped by a deep love for language, art, and the inner life of childhood. For over twelve years, I have devoted my work to creating learning environments where children feel safe, capable, and inspired to grow through beauty, rhythm, and meaningful connection.
I have taught within established Waldorf communities and schools in New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, working with children throughout their elementary years. Alongside classroom teaching, I have also led small homeschool groups and guided families seeking a more intentional, balanced, and conscious approach to education.
As a bilingual educator, I teach Spanish and English through an integrated, Waldorf-inspired approach — weaving academics with art, movement, storytelling, music, and nature-based experiences. Influenced by the principles of Simplicity Parenting, I value calm, order, and emotional safety as foundations for learning. When children feel grounded and secure, their focus, memory, and cognitive flexibility naturally unfold.
In addition to working with children, I have led workshops for parents, supporting them in organizing homeschool rhythms, creating nourishing home environments, and developing curriculum that feels sustainable and aligned with their family values. I believe that education lives not only in lessons, but in daily rituals, relationships, and the atmosphere of the home.
Whether in a classroom, a small group, or a parent circle, my intention remains the same: to offer steady presence, thoughtful guidance, and a warm, structured path for children and families to grow with confidence, clarity, and joy.

How My Waldorf-Inspired Lessons Work
My lessons are Waldorf-inspired and designed to meet the whole child — head, heart, and hands. Learning unfolds through art, movement, music, and storytelling, creating a joyful and meaningful academic experience.
Art & Creativity
Children learn through drawing, painting, handwork, and creative projects that support focus, fine-motor skills, and imagination.
Music & Rhythm
Songs, verses, and rhythmical activities support language development, memory, and emotional regulation — especially in bilingual learning.
Movement & Embodied Learning
Concepts in math, language, and science are taught through movement, games, and gestures, helping children truly live what they learn.
Story-Based Academics
Academic subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science are introduced through rich stories and images, making learning engaging and developmentally appropriate.
Nature-Inspired Learning
When possible, lessons connect to the natural world through observation, seasonal themes, and nature walks, supporting curiosity, grounding, and wonder.
Through this integrated approach, children build strong academic foundations while developing confidence, creativity, and a genuine love of learning.
