About Matthew
Since high school, I have been tutoring students in various topics relating to STEM, medicine, career planning, and higher education. I am committed to fostering the development of my students to succeed in both their personal and professional lives by teaching them the essential skills that they will use in and out of the classroom. From my undergraduate and graduate studies as a biomedical engineering pre-med student, and with my background in teaching students, I have a strong foundation in a range of topics, understand the needs of current students, and possess the skills necessary to help my students succeed.

As a pre-med biomedical engineer, I use various techniques to teach my students to understand content, solve problems, apply their understanding to new contexts, and integrate what they learn with real-world applications. My goal is to facilitate long-term retention and understanding so that my students have great performance in school and gain/strengthen skills that they can take beyond the classroom. I am providing lessons to K-12 and undergraduate students in topics relating to STEM, medicine, and college/higher education preparation (including graduate school). To optimize my lessons, I tailor my plan to the needs and goals of my students on an individual basis.
