About Laura
I am a second year college student in UCC studying Food Marketing and Entrepreneurship. I obtained 613 points in my Leaving Cert and I achieved 100% in four of my 7 subjects. I have created study methods that helped me to achieve these grades and I believe that my methods can help other students achieve their own Leaving Cert goals.

I am aware that many students struggle with the amount of content that is in the Irish course and it can be quite daunting facing the oral, aural and written exams.
Because of this I have created notes that both follow the Leaving Cert course and reduce the amount of content that is to be learned. I also have made quizzes that help with active learning and really help with revision before exams.
With each student we set grade targets together and then I tailor my lessons specifically to their needs and goals. Given that the oral is worth 40% of the total marks, there will be a focus on strengthening the student's oral Irish with focus on key vocab for sraith pictiúirs and the general conversation.
Each lesson will be 35-45 minutes depending on the needs of the student. In each grind we will cover core topics of the course, go through exam paper questions, and aim to do a 5 min practise oral at the end of each session. Each grind will be exam-technique focused to ensure that students will not only learn the language but also perform well in exams.
