About Claudio
My name Claudio Penny, born and raise in Zimbabwe now living in Cape Town South Africa.
I worked for a couple of year as a Graphic designer, but music kept ringing in my head, and now I play and perform a wide range of African instruments native to Southern Africa.

Music and the Mbira instrument have been in my family for generations. Both of these have been talent and skill passed down from generation to generation around the fire, on family holidays or gatherings.
With the privilege of getting both formal and informal music training, I was able to grow and develop as an African instrumentalist.
I can help learners at all levels grasp the concepts and harness their talents, with the flexibility of understanding both traditional and contemporary styles of play.
