About Maria
My name is Maria and I've been playing the clarinet in several philharmonic bands for 10 years. I always wanted to learn Music Theory because in my early years of learning, I really felt the need of it (what is a da capo? Or what are those scribles over the notes...). Due to my inability to attend a music conservatory, I started my journey in search of knowledge. After a lot of research, questions asked to my musician friends and a lot of experience, I acquired a very solid foundation on the importance and application of Music Theory. I'm passionate about music and it's something I could talk about for hours and hours...
On the first class, I will get to know your music taste, assess your basic knowledge and map out our journey!

These classes are aimed at all people who want to know how to read and interpret a musical score. From kids to adults who simply want to learn a lot but don't have time during the week.
In my classes you will learn the basics of music theory. First we will learn the theory, then we'll analyze a score. Then we'll do exercises (they could be writing, reading and/or listening exercises). At the end of the class, you'll always take a personalized homework to present at the beginning of the next class.
