I offer you to get to know and understand yourself better, through an introduction to cognitive science.
This multidisciplinary scientific field, too little known to the general public, explores all facets of thought. Perception, memory, attention, decision-making or even problem solving, this is what cognitive science deals with.
We are all more and more concerned about our health, to improve it we do physical activity, adopt a balanced diet, but we do not try to have a healthy cognitive lifestyle. However, it is by becoming aware of all our cognitive mechanisms that we can better understand our lives.
By answering your own questions on the subject and by addressing different cognitive functions and their functioning, we can spare our mind from the blunders and other mental burdens that overwhelm it on a daily basis. Not to mention the constant benefits on mood and health, at all ages, of learning and novelty.
