I'm a music school student with over 5 years of experience playing and studying music-and I still remember exactly what it's like to be where you are now: curious, excited, and maybe even a little overwhelmed. As a 17-year-old, I teach both children and adults. That's why I love helping beginners just like you get started with confidence. Whether you're picking up the alto saxophone for the first time or want to finally understand how music theory works, I'll guide you step-by-step in a fun, patient, and clear way-without the pressure. 1. Alto Saxophone (Beginner Lessons)
Whether you've never picked up a saxophone or just started, I'll guide you through everything you need to build a strong foundation, including:
• How to Assemble and Care for Your Saxophone
Learn how to safely put it together, clean it properly, and keep it in great shape.
• Proper Playing Position and Hand Technique I'll show you how to hold the sax comfortably, use correct finger placement, and build good habits from the beginning.
• Tone Production
Discover how to get a clear, strong sound using your mouth (embouchure), air support, and reed control.
• Reading Music for Saxophone
You'll learn to read notes, rhythms, and symbols specific to the saxophone-so you can play real music, not just exercises.
• Simple Songs and Melodies
We'll apply what you've learned by playing fun, recognizable songs that keep things interesting and motivating.
• Practice Tips and Routines
I'll help you build a practice habit that fits your schedule and helps you improve week by week.
• The Basics of Reading Music
Notes, rhythms, rests, time signatures, key signatures-everything you need to read sheet music confidently.

We'll explore major and minor scales, how they're built, and why they matter. Plus, you'll understand the "distances" between notes (intervals) that create harmony.
• Chords and Harmony
