  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self. So there is an interesting story, I grew up in a spiritual family where my father used to take yoga classes for free on a daily basis and he had a very good knowledge about Yoga. So I grew up seeing all these things and developed an eagerness to know more about yoga.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    I was motivated by my father to join this field where I can get a deeper knowledge of the subject
  • How does your work help society?

    Health is a big concern in modern times and Yoga is the cheapest and the best thing that can make society happy and healthy
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    Swami Rama is my role model in yoga because he taught society what is the scientific basis behind all practices. He also showed some extraordinary things in foreign laboratories like stopping the heartbeat and changing the beat as per his will, so he is my role model because he told the scientific basis of yoga
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    I love to play badminton, chess, guitar, and reading books is also my hobby
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    I want to share one experience I had one patient who had the problem of chronic constipation that almost ruined his life, lethargy, insomnia, and inactivity were the main consequences in his life then I taught him shankh prakshalan (bowel cleansing), from the first day of the practice he was feeling so much relaxed he thanked me, again and again, that was the thing which makes me feel proud.
    So yoga is not just about asana, it is much more than that...
