My personal approaches to private tutoring involves tailoring my lesson to cater to each student's unique learning style, pace,and academic needs. I adopt the learner-centered approach which is particularly what is needed for the 21st century learning and teaching as opposed to the traditional teacher-centered approach, where students are just passive learners. This fosters a supportive environment, builds confidence, encourages open communication, thereby ensuring meaningful understanding and long-term academic growth.
My lesson plans are customised in such a way as to suit the individual learning styles, building rapport to boost student confidence, using real-life examples for clarity, providing regular feedback, setting achievable goals, and adapting methods based on progress made.
