About Ben
I am a recent MA International Relations Graduate, having passed with Merit after two years part time study at the Open University (yay!). I also hold an Upper Second Class BA (Hons) in American Studies and Politics from the University of Winchester, as well as a DBS certificate, which I can provide upon request!
My interest in tutoring and mentoring others began in my Sixth Form years, when I frequently supported my classmates with their homework, not only helping them to articulate their ideas effectively and clearly, but by encouraging them to think more independently in order to support their personal growth, confidence and self-reliance. Sixth Form was also the time when I developed my interest in Politics as a subject, and it was thanks to one of my own teachers' enthusiasm, knowledge and pastoral support that I became sure of my desire to pass on what I had learned to others.
I know how much impact a good educator can have on a student's life long after they have gone on to better things, and I want nothing more than to be able to have that impact on others.
