About Jessie
I am a current Masters of Science graduate student at Georgia Tech and I have been studying international relations and political science for six years. I did my undergraduate studies at Berry College and have researched several topics including international humanitarian intervention, sustainable development approaches, and the role of international organizations in conflict resolution. I am also an AmeriCorps member with over 2 years of experience in development and the nonprofit sector.

I aim to share knowledge with any student who is willing and engaged with the topic of politics. As a tutor, I work to find a method of communication that works best for you while empowering you to use your own resources to find the answers. My approach to showing rather than telling will help our sessions be interactive while assuring that you will have the skills to further your learning afterwards. Most importantly, I encourage civil discourse with my students as political science can often be a polarizing topic. My sessions will promote deep thinking and reflection on the roots of political beliefs and the impact they have on our lives today while maintaining respect and open-mindedness.
