About Sara
I excel in History, Politics, Humanities, and English Literature. For that, I'm always up-to-date on political subjects and have a wide range of historical resources that enables me to be proficient and knowledgeable of this subject. I have been majorly tutoring IB students for 2 years, however, I also tutor non-IB students. Over this time period, I have seen all of my students develop and achieve higher grades, because of the techniques that I apply when tutoring them. Now I can't wait to tutor more students to watch them grow and achieve their goals!

Hi, I'm Sara! I'm currently majoring in International Relations and Politics at Istanbul Aydin University. I tutor 9th to 12th grade students. The fact that I have completed the IB Diploma Programme, allows me to perfectly understand the challenges you are going through, where I found it hard to find someone to simplify certain subjects for me. Now as a tutor, my goal is to help students untangle any academic problems, as I will teach you methods to break down difficult questions and complex subjects. Besides, the fact that I have high organizational skills where I plan education-related events and conferences, allows me to guide on managing your time and tasks effectively if you prefer!
As regards to my method of tutoring, the first and foremost step that I usually take is that I try to get to know the student. For that, I always prefer to introduce myself and let the student do so too, as this not only help us to bond but also builds a rapport. In addition, I ask the student to inform me about her/his worries and what he/she needs help with. This allows me to assess the student's situation and level, to create a plan that best meets the student's needs. After that, setting target goals is the most essential part of the process, as it motivates and sets the student at ease, and give a long-term overview of her/his progress.
