About Courtney
I am currently an International Relations and Politics student in my third year, however, in my first year, I did study History and Politics. I have a GCSE and A-Level in History and will be studying a PGCE in History after I graduate.
I have a lot of experience working with children from the past two summers where I have worked in a summer camp in the USA. I have also taught English to children whilst volunteering in Vietnam.
Though I have never personally tutored before I would love to help anyone with their studies from primary studies to A-Levels.

Personally, whilst studying in secondary school for GCSEs I found listening and watching other people explain historical events a lot more effective than reading from a book. I prefered making mind maps, flashcards and other ways in which I could bring in creativity to keep me enthused. I would highly recommend activities like this for my students, however, I know each student is different and will work better in certain ways - which I aim to cater for.
