About Harley
I am currently studying international development at the University of Portsmouth, focussing on international relations, the history of colonialism and global institutions. I have A* in A level geography and additional A levels in English and German with experience teaching 5 through 15 yrs, including foreign languages, geography and maths. I began teaching German to pupils at a primary school in Cambridgeshire and began private tutoring at 17 for GSCE topics.

Ideally, I would tutor up to GCSE level, and prior to GCSE, I am happy to tutor in a wider variety of subjects. I tend to focus lessons on demonstrating and explaining techniques then providing support whilst the tutee attempts themself. From my own experience, I understand that engagement is key, so finding a way to relate what is being taught to the tutee is a priority.
