I am an international development professional with more than 25 years of experience leading multicultural teams, managing high-value programs, and collaborating with global organizations and the Canadian government. I hold a Ph.D. and have spent my career navigating high-level professional, scientific, and corporate environments.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with professionals across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and North America. This global exposure has given me a deep, firsthand understanding of the unique communication and cultural barriers that individuals face when entering the professional landscape in Canada. I know how intimidating it can be to present complex ideas or lead meetings in a second language, and I am passionate about helping others overcome that anxiety.

My Methodology & Approach

I move away from rigid, textbook-style grammar lessons. Instead, I use a highly practical approach centered on real-world corporate scenarios. Because I have spent over 25 years leading international teams, collaborating with the Canadian government, and presenting at global conferences, I teach you the actual language patterns, pacing, and cultural nuances used in high-level Canadian professional settings.

A Typical Lesson Plan

Every session is tailored to your immediate career goals, but a standard 60-minute lesson typically includes:
• The Warm-Up (10 Mins): Fluent conversational practice focusing on natural pronunciation, flow, and pacing.
• The Core Objective (30 Mins): Hands-on practice with your real work materials. We will actively review and rehearse your upcoming slide presentations, simulate business meetings, practice interview questions, or refine your professional emails and briefing notes.
• Constructive Feedback & Action Steps (20 Mins): Targeted coaching on body language, vocabulary enhancement, elimination of verbal tics, and specific exercises for the week ahead.
