About Yu Yan
Mr Pang is an established international practitioner in interior architecture and spatial design with more than two decades of professional experience. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers (FCSD), the author of two books, and has served as a judge for international design awards. His work and professional activities have been recognised through a number of international design awards and exhibitions.

Mr Pang offers one-to-one mentoring for final-year students, recent graduates, career changers and emerging designers who are preparing to enter the interior architecture and spatial design profession, or looking to take the next step in their careers. Sessions are tailored to individual goals and may include portfolio and project reviews, career direction, interview preparation, design development, presentation and communication skills, and guidance on professional practice. Particular emphasis is placed on the transition from education into practice: developing professional judgement, building a clear point of view, communicating design decisions with confidence, and understanding how the profession works beyond the academic environment. With more than two decades of international experience in interior architecture and spatial design, Mr Pang brings the perspective of an established practitioner to each session. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers (FCSD), the author of two books, and has been invited to serve as a judge for a number of international design awards. His work has also been presented internationally, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale. He has a longstanding interest in supporting emerging designers and has been involved in mentoring and recognising final-year design students for more than a decade. Sessions are available online or in person in London.
