As an International Behavior Analyst and a Qualified Autism Service Practitioner Supervisor, I use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Principles which helps understand how behavior works, how behavior is affected by the environment and how learning takes place. The goal of ABA is to increase behavior and reduce behaviors that are harmful and/or negatively affect learning.
