About David
My background is as a touring guitarist and solo performer in Europe and North America. I studied music composition for Film in the Leinster School of Music and Dance (Dublin, Ireland) and guitar at the Institute of Contemporary Performance (London, England) and have teaching qualifications from my time running training courses in Europe. During my time playing the guitar I have been lucky enough to be invited backstage by Joe Satriani, Tommy Emmanuel and Arlo Guthrie to name a few. I look forward to sharing your guitar playing journey with you!

Hi folks, my name is David Skinner. I have dedicated my life to the guitar and in particular composition and fingerstyle guitar. If you want to learn to play like Tommy Emmanuel, Chet Atkins or Jerry Reed (To name a few) let's talk. Or maybe you just want to start from scratch with a teacher that understands the quickest way to achieve proficiency in the instrument. I teach all styles, acoustic and electric. I also teach beginner to expert level music theory along the way.
