About Gabriella
My motto is that everybody is able to learn a foreign language what is needed to achieve this goal is just hard work and perseverance.
As a tutor and instructor I have always tried to motivate my students. Besides teaching strictly the language skills I also introduced some of the cultural aspects of the given language. Learning foreign languages and knowing how people of another nationality think, speak and live widens your horizons, your understanding of the surrounding world.

According to my communicative approach I try to speak and make my students speak as much as possible in the given foreign language and I do not make the student overdo long grammar exercises unless they want to. I also try to minimalize translations.
I usually begin my lessons with some kind of icebreaker to make my student feel comfortable. Then we usually check written or oral homework
One of my favorite techniques is word-definition when I ask students to explain the meaning of a word or I give them a definition and they have to find out the word. I t is especially useful for checking students` vocabulary.
The next step is introducing new material, some reading, listening and pronunciation practices. I like using different realia, cards, pictures short videos, etc. The last step is always assigning the homework and say goodbye.
I was said by my students to be a kind and understanding tutor , I like to make my lessons interesting and stimulating. I am most practiced in tutoring adults from 18- 80, and high school students.
