"Vocal strain often stems from incorrect breathing and a lack of fundamental warm-up exercises. Sight singing and rhythm development are frequently the missing pieces in a student's technical puzzle. I provide a mandatory diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student to ensure we identify specific needs from day 1.
This initial check allows me to balance genre styling across pop, classical, and musical theatre with surgical precision. We address belting technique, diction, articulation, and pitch control through a series of specific, manageable steps. My background at the Royal Northern College of Music ensures that every technical drill is grounded in solid pedagogical theory. Whether we are preparing for a conservatoire audition or simply finding comfort in your natural range, the process remains methodical.
