About Nicole

My previous years of teaching experience have provided me with invaluable experience managing a classroom of young students with diverse needs. As I continue to learn and grow as an educator, I would like to share my knowledge and experience with future teachers. My experiences have provided me the opportunity to see firsthand how my teaching can impact student growth academically and socially. I have mentored many educators to pursue their career in education.
I am devoted to cultivating a lifelong love of learning in my students. I am skilled in accommodating the needs of my students to help them perform to the best of their ability, in the classroom and beyond. I am excited to embark on the next phase of my career. I would love to share my knowledge of early childhood development and teach future generations with a positive, nurturing environment, rich with opportunities for achievement so that educators can grow to their full potential.

About the lesson

Throughout college and my teaching career thus far, I have been committed to maximizing individual student performance while instilling a sense of self-worth among all students. I have dedicated my career to these and additional pursuits, as my enclosed resume will attest. I have had the opportunity to teach full day kindergarten in the Philadelphia School District as well as be the first pilot teacher in Bensalem Township School District in 2011 for full day kindergarten.
My qualifications include fourteen years of full day kindergarten teaching experience. During the summer, I tutor students in reading, writing, and mathematics. I hold my BS and MEd degrees in elementary education and a current Level II teaching certificate in Pennsylvania. I am a team leader, mentor teacher, and cooperating teacher for future educators. I have trained many teachers in both reading and writing programs in my district. Currently, I am the curriculum coordinator for ELA for grades kindergarten through second.
