I am deeply passionate about creative writing, photography, and nature. I love incorporating the beauty of the natural world and the observational skills of photography into my teaching, helping students 'see' stories before they write them. My greatest strength as a tutor is being an active listener. I believe that every young writer and reader needs to be truly heard to build confidence. By combining this empathetic approach with my skills in text analysis, creative writing, grammar, and spelling, I help students become effective, well-rounded communicators. My goal is to teach youth how to express themselves powerfully—both verbally and through writing—while becoming sharper observers of the world around them. Whether your child is a kindergartener learning to love stories or a high schooler tackling complex literary analysis, I tailor my approach to their unique pace and learning style.
