About Hugo
I am currently studying Industrial Design at Loughborough University, one of the UK's leading universities for design and engineering. I achieved a Grade B in A-Level Design & Technology and have continued to develop my knowledge through university projects and practical design work.
Alongside my studies, I have gained valuable real-world experience working in a professional project environment, where I have developed strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. This practical experience allows me to explain design concepts clearly and relate them to real applications.
I am patient, approachable and committed to helping every student achieve their full potential. Whether you're preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, improving your coursework or aiming for higher grades, I will provide structured, supportive lessons tailored to your individual needs. My goal is to build both confidence and understanding so that students leave each lesson feeling more capable and motivated.

My lessons are tailored to each individual student, whether you're studying GCSE or A-Level Design & Technology. As a current Industrial Design student at Loughborough University, I understand the skills and knowledge needed to succeed both in exams and coursework.
I focus on helping students build confidence in areas such as the design process, product analysis, iterative design, sketching, materials, manufacturing processes and exam technique. Lessons are interactive, relaxed and adapted to your learning style, ensuring concepts are easy to understand and apply.
I also provide support with coursework, revision planning and past paper practice, helping students maximise their marks and improve their confidence before exams.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and are available online or in person. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing the skills needed to achieve their target grades.

To help students and parents decide if I'm the right tutor, I offer a free introductory lesson. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your goals, identify areas for improvement and create a personalised learning plan with no obligation.
Lessons are available online, making it easy and convenient to learn from home. Online sessions are charged at the same £15 hourly rate as in-person lessons and include interactive teaching, exam support, coursework guidance and personalised feedback.
