About Samira
I am an ambitious and passionate student who achieved all grade 9s and went on to complete the rigorous IB Diploma. I’ve learned how to “hack” academic systems by thinking like the examiner—not by being naturally gifted, but by using strategic, effective study techniques. Teaching has always come naturally to me; I’ve tutored my younger sister countless times, supported a girl preparing for her GCSEs, and helped two others through the 11+. I want to tutor because I genuinely care about student success—especially helping students realise that excelling in exams is more about approach and mindset than being a “genius.” I love making learning feel exciting and achievable, and I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have.

I am determined to make your child excel in their GCSEs through a focused, personalised, and scientifically-backed approach. I tailor my teaching to each student’s level of understanding by identifying their weaknesses and explaining concepts in clear, engaging ways. My lessons are interactive and packed with relevant past paper questions, followed by homework tasks designed to consolidate their learning to the max. I use proven methods such as active recall and spaced repetition to boost memory retention and long-term understanding. My aim is not just for your child to do well—but for them to gain genuine confidence (and maybe even a passion!) for the subject. I firmly believe that it is a teacher’s energy and belief in a student that can completely change their performance. I charge £15/hour and am flexible with timings, making high-quality tutoring accessible to more families.
