About Ilse
I am certified to teach English. I followed a 168-hour Tefl course and I'm currently studying to teach business English. I'm from the Netherlands, where the level of English is the hightest in the world as a non-English speaking country. I have had a very strong English education since I was young and I am still enjoying the benefits of it. I'd like to pass on this knowledge to more people.

In the teaching method I use we'll speak as much English as we can. I believe that exposure to the language is the best and fastest way to eventually master the language. The Tefl course taught me how to do it for speakers of any level. It doesn't matter if you know only very basic words like 'hello' and 'how are you' or if you already have a fairly high level in English.
In the first lesson we'll determine your level of English through a conversation and set your goals. What do you want to use English for finally? Based on that, I will make a lesson plan in which we work towards your goal. The lessons consist of interactive components with which you will discover the meaning of words and grammar by yourself.
