About Hilda
I teach because I remember the frustration of having a melody in my head that I could not quite capture on paper. Sitting at the piano with a blank notebook is where I spent most of my early years.
Over the last 13 years, I have helped 77 students bridge that gap between a rough idea and a finished song. My goal is to make songwriting a clear, manageable process for content creators and career switchers alike. I use my BM from Berklee College of Music to guide you through prosody and chord progressions, ensuring your words match the emotional weight of your melody.
We spend time on editing and rewriting to make sure your storytelling remains sharp and effective. You will find your own voice through our consistent work on perspective and point of view.
It is rewarding to see someone realize they can actually write, not just dream about it. I am here to help you get the songs out of your head and into the world. Happy writing.

Pacing is the heartbeat of a great song, so we start by listening to the natural rhythm of your lyrics. Imagine your melody as a conversation, where every syllable has a specific place to land. I bring 13 years of experience and a calm, student-led perspective to help you navigate the tricky balance of structure and creative freedom. We use my training from Berklee College of Music to break down why certain chord progressions work and how to refine your point of view.
This is not about rigid rules, but about building a toolkit you can use for every song you write from here on out. We focus on finding the exact right word to make your story resonate with an audience. I check in with you constantly to make sure the pace feels right for your learning style.
If you are ready to turn your ideas into complete songs, we can start building that process today. Let us make your best music yet.
