About Dylan
Hi, I'm Dylan!
A Philosophy, Politics, and Economics student in Leeds with a deep passion for the world of politics.
My thesis is on ODA and its effects on peacebuilding efforts in the Middle East.
I come from a small town in Lincolnshire and was raised by a single parent. I attended a non-selective state school and worked full-time as a chef while studying.
My experience in education, particularly my A-Levels, wasn't the best; I couldn't utilise tutoring and had no idea it existed. I want to give you this opportunity that I was not given.
I was always taught that the best form of education is a well-rounded one, rooted in critical thinking and introspection. Politics offers this, and I want to be part of your political education.

I was a poor A-level student and didn't really find my method of revision. I aim to help you find yours while guiding you through the areas of the course you find tricky. This may be through discussions or through past questions, where you can give me an answer or a plan, and we can refine and mould it together into a great answer.
There is encouragement to come to me with your questions so we can work through them. I've found the best way to know you've understood them is to be able to talk them through, debate and question your understanding. Introspection is the way to success.
Lessons are primarily focused on A-Level students but are open to all with an interest in learning more about the world of politics, whether UK-based or international.

As Dylan’s housemate at university, I have always been able to rely on him to educate me on political concepts I am unfamiliar with, as well as effectively answering any questions I have. He is extremely articulate and explains things in a simple manner so that complicated topics seem easier to comprehend. He is also incredibly patient and non-judgmental, making me feel validated if I feel ignorant or uneducated within a certain area.
