About Folliot
I received my undergraduate education from New York University graduating with a double major in dance and literature/performance. I began tutoring foreign English speakers in 2016 and have enjoyed working with students in New York, Austria, and Belgium. I have worked as an editor for a non-profit cultural organization based out of NYC, and a restoration initiative based out of Brussels.

I take a very personalized approach to teaching English and organize my lessons primarily around my student's individual needs. I work with people who want to practice and improve their conversation, comprehension, and English speaking skills by engaging with texts, videos, and music. In our lessons together we will stay creative while covering the basics! I believe we learn the most efficiently when we are curious and engaged with materials and exercises at hand! I usually work with intermediate English speakers 16 years old and up.

Folliot is a great choice for learning English as a second language. Not only is he a fantastic teacher with a great deal of empathy, patience and unique exercises that push his students, but he is also a very easygoing and open person, and gives space for learners to self-develop. Additionally, he is an active listener, and so can adapt quickly in order to accommodate a learner’s needs and get the most out of their abilities. I highly recommend Folliot as your English teacher, there’s no doubt that you’ll have a good time and learn a lot.
