About Sammy
I am a recent SPM graduate with a strong interest in English and a genuine passion for helping younger students improve their language skills. I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, practice English and learn from their mistakes.
Although I am at the beginning of my tutoring journey, I am responsible, patient and committed to preparing lessons carefully according to each student’s level and needs. I understand the challenges that primary and lower secondary students may face because I have recently completed my own secondary school education.
My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking. I explain concepts clearly, use simple examples and guide students step by step until they understand. I also adapt my teaching pace according to the student, especially for those who need more support.
I believe professionalism means being punctual, prepared, respectful and consistent. My goal is not only to help students improve their English, but also to build their confidence and encourage them to enjoy learning the language.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and student-centered. I believe students learn English better when they feel comfortable asking questions and are not afraid of making mistakes. My aim is to make every lesson easy to understand, practical and enjoyable.
During my classes, I will focus on the four main English skills: reading, writing, speaking and grammar. I will explain each topic step by step using simple examples, short exercises, guided practice and revision activities. For weaker students, I will slow down the lesson and provide more support until they understand the topic. For stronger students, I will give more challenging exercises to help them improve further.
A typical lesson will be around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student's level and learning needs. Each lesson may include a short revision, explanation of a new topic, practice activities and a quick review at the end.
I am a recent SPM graduate with a strong interest in English and helping younger students improve their confidence in the subject. As someone who has recently completed secondary school, I understand the challenges students may face when learning English and can explain concepts in a simple and relatable way.
My lessons are suitable for primary school and lower secondary students, especially those who need extra help with grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing and basic communication skills. I welcome students of different ability levels and will adjust my teaching according to each student's needs and learning pace.
