About Charlotte
Internal Medical Doctor with an interest in simulation and Clinical Oncology.
Communication is the cornerstone of Medicine.
Knowing when to speak and what truly lands to different patients with different personalities and in different scenarios is a skill that all medics will forever be honing! Identifying students who could be good medical students is not just about academics, it's about demonstrating you have a good basis for communication and you are willing to listen to those around you.
As an introvert who really struggled with knowing what to say to people in sixth form, I have first-hand experience of how simulation and role play scenarios can provide the tools you need to get into medical school, graduate from medical school and thrive as a doctor!

Regular or one-off online sessions to identify your current communication strengths and find the areas that need finessing!
Sessions use example Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) role play scenarios which you will work through with tutor Charlotte who will act as an observer and assessor (a common setup in MMIs).
We will re-work these scenarios, highlighting tips and tricks along the way to build a repertoire of tools that you can rely on!
