About Gregory
My name is Gregory, I started playing chess at the age of five and got a chance to participate in multiple competitive events. Before finishing high-school, I became one of the top 10 Ontario high school players. Now, I am an active member of uOttawa Chess team, Thornhill Chess club, and Chess Federation Of Canada.
I speak English, French and Russian. I provide 1 on 1 lessons or group classes.

As someone who made most of my chess progress without books or a coach I try to combine my modern chess background (extensive use of online resources and databases) with a classical approach. I'm completely flexible with what I teach and tailor material to each individual student.
