Lessons with me are fun, interactive, and engaging!
What students love about my style is that I can simplify difficult concepts, and make them easy to understand and retain. In one hour I can cover more material than you ever thought possible. We will use every minute, and I can even provide you with extra resources to practice on your own time if you'd like.
My style includes asking lots of questions and letting the student develop his/her thinking strategies.

  • When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

I just love anything related to science, I enjoy the thinking process, the adventure of learning something new, and the passion for exploring new ideas. I studied epidemiology and biostatistics which was a perfect domain for me because I loved to learn about biology as well as math.
  • What makes you passionate about your subject?

I had a curiosity since I was young, I wanted to know how everything works. I finally found answers in the scientific domain. I felt like I belonged in the scientific community. I love teaching anything related to science because I can show the students the value of what they're learning. I can show them how it relates to daily life and how it can benefit them.
  • What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

I love tutoring because of the feedback I get. It is so fulfilling when a student thanks you from the bottom of their heart and tells me that I've been a great help. Teaching comes naturally for me, I understand the learning style of my student right away and I custom make lesson plans to help them reach their goals. I am a superprof because I am at the top of my field, I preplan, and I am proactive.
  • Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

I had a professor in my third year of university when I was doing my bachelor's degree in biology. He was harsh, strict, and moody. I knew that's exactly what I didn't want to be when I became a teacher.
But, I loved him because he was a genius in his field. So I ventured out to combine being kind, sympathetic, understanding, while at the same time being an expert in the material I'm teaching. I visit him from time to time and let him know he was the reason I became involved in the academic and teaching field.
  • What are your keys to success?

I work from my heart, out of passion. I am not financially motivated. The students can tell right away that I actually care about them, their learning journey, and their results. I feel like I make a great tutor because I can adjust my teaching depending on the student's learning style. I'm also very organized, punctual, and professional. From the first lesson students know they're getting the best of the best, and they appreciate that. People who hire tutors are investing in themselves and they want to feel like they're getting value for their money- and I deliver.
