About Valentin
Hello! I am a professional actor, screenwriter, and workshop leader dedicated to helping you find your unique voice, build unshakable confidence, and master the craft of acting.
My journey in the creative arts began seven years ago in the vibrant entertainment landscape of Australia. To build a rock-solid foundation, I trained at the prestigious Screenwise Film and Television School in Sydney. Seeking to push my craft even further, I spent five years training intensively under Los Angeles-based acting coach Jeff Seymour, mastering a practical, instinct-driven approach to the craft that completely eliminates overthinking.
I don't just teach acting—I actively live it. Over the past few years, my professional career has taken me onto international film sets across Europe and Australia. My recent credits include supporting roles in major feature films such as Dražen and Diva, appearances in international TV series, and a lead role as the Judge/Boat Expert in the viral Beta Squad reality series.
Beyond my work on screen, I look at storytelling from every angle. I am a certified Location Manager through Stage 32 and a passionate writer who recently completed my first feature-length screenplay. This multi-faceted industry experience means I understand exactly what directors, writers, and casting agents look for when hiring talent.
Five years ago, I relocated to the beautiful coastal city of Zadar, Croatia. Today, I proudly run a dynamic acting and improv workshop here, fostering a creative, supportive community for local and international talent alike.

My Teaching Method and Techniques - Online or In-person.
My coaching philosophy is rooted in the "Real Life Actor" approach, which focuses on instinct, listening, and stripping away overthinking. Having trained extensively under Jeff Seymour in Los Angeles, I do not teach rigid, academic acting theories. Instead, I focus on practical, industry-ready techniques:
Active Listening: Teaching you to react truthfully to your scene partner rather than just waiting for your turn to speak.
Organic Improv: Using improvisation not just for comedy, but as a tool to find spontaneity and genuine emotion in dramatic scenes.
Script & Screenplay Analysis: Leveraging my experience as a feature screenplay writer to help you break down scenes from a writer's perspective, uncovering the subtext and character motivations.
On-Camera Precision: Practical adjustments for screen acting, drawing from my experience on international feature films and TV sets.
A Typical Lesson Plan (60 Minutes)
Every lesson is dynamic, practical, and tailored to the student's immediate goals, typically following this structure:
00–10 mins | Warm-Up & Focus: Quick improv exercises to break the ice, get you out of your head, and build immediate focus.
10–25 mins | Technique & Cold Reading: Working on specific skills like pacing, vocal variety, or eye lines, often using short, unseen scripts.
25–50 mins | Scene Work & Active Coaching: Diving into your prepared monologue, audition piece, or workshop scene. We film it, analyze it, and adjust it in real time.
50–60 mins | Industry Wrap-Up & Feedback: Concrete notes for improvement, script analysis homework, and professional industry advice (audition etiquette, set behavior, or location insights).
