About Caroline
I am a student currently studying at Imperial College London doing medical bioscience. I did A-levels in Maths, biology, chemistry and psychology and achieved A* in all my subjects.
I have experience teaching IELS to international students individually and boosted their grades from 6 to 7.5. I enjoy explain subject material to students and help with their study.

I believe teaching is to make sure students fully understand the materials instead of just memorising them. I am approachable to students and always make an effort to bond with them and tailor my teaching approach individually towards each student because I think it’s important to build a tutor-student relationship with trust so that students can feel more engaged and feel free to ask any questions they can.
Before every lesson, I’d like to make a teaching plan and structural the materials in a logical manner. Through my research on cognitive performance, I design my lesson to fit into the student’s retention curve to achieve efficiency.
Finally there’s no reason learning can’t be fun! I found it useful to provide games to deliver information using a variety of stimuli and students have loved it!
