About Roman
I am determined and diligent. I consistently allocate time for self-growth in both academia and sports, and adore confronting challenges when they present themselves. I have been told by my peers that I can adapt to any situation, will not give up on a problem until a solution is found, and that I am patient when communicating scientific concepts. Most of all, when tutoring, I will aspire to fully center my lessons around the wishes of my tutee and will create detailed lesson plans according to their needs. What I desire most is to see the moment of apprehension and understanding communicated by my students’ expressions as they grasp a key concept, like I myself did when studying for my exams.
I hope that I can successfully communicate all of these character traits and aspirations when tutoring you.

I am 18 years old, and live in London, England. In terms of my prior tutoring experience, I have been a Robotics tutor at the City of London school whilst studying there for approximately 3 years, where I taught 13-18 year-olds fundamental principles regarding the coding of robots using Arduino and Raspberry Pie. During this time I have also volunteered to teach various GCSE subjects (such as Physics and Chemistry), to peers during breaks and after school. Moreover, during my first year of sixth form I volunteered to tutor peers IB French, organising private lessons via Microsoft teams and teaching Grammar, Essay Technique and also Fluency through speaking only French to my tutees.
My approach to tutoring is unique in the way that I aspire to teach visually and am a strong believer in teaching subjects from first principles, so that my students get the best understanding as possible of various concepts. My lessons last anywhere from 1 to 2 hours.
