After a year of trying to teach myself to play the violin, I realized that the absence of knowledgeable feedback was slowing my efforts. I was extremely fortunate to come across the more structured lessons offered by Ms. Drexler. Not only did she quickly rid me of some bad habits, but after only two years of lessons I have reached a strong intermediate level of playing. The lessons are both fun and challenging. Her encouragement for me to try new techniques and tunes has kept me from being stagnant and resulted in a better than ever performance of earlier songs I had learned, even adding slides and double stops! She is a very gifted instructor.
