My lessons are very relaxed and hands-on. A typical lesson could be 1-3 hrs, depending on the student. I like to start by asking what the student wants to work on that day, from there, I either demo something step by step or we draw together so they can see the process in real time. I give a lot of gentle feedback as we go, and I explain things in a way that makes sense without overcomplicating anything. I use references, quick sketches, and small exercises to help students build confidence and understand why certain things work in art, not just how to do them. I’ve worked with different mediums such as digital illustration, traditional painting, and design, so I pull from all of that to help students find their own style. Overall, my goal is to make the lesson feel encouraging, personal, and fun, so they leave feeling like they genuinely improved and enjoyed the process. Expected lessons include: -Digital illustration techniques, from sketching to final rendering - Character design - How to use references effectively without copying - Colour theory and how to create mood or atmosphere - Digital Painting techniques - How to develop a personal art style - Quick sketching and warm-up exercises I've had experience teaching kid basic painting to teaching a class on character design. The lessons are for everyone. ^^
