I'm Aishani, a passionate educator with over five years of experience teaching school students in subjects like Mathematics, English, Science and Social Science. I’ve helped many students not only improve their marks but also truly understand what they’re learning and even enjoy it! Who I Am I’m someone who believes that every student can succeed with the right support, clear explanations and a little bit of encouragement. I love making difficult topics easier to understand, and I always try to connect what you’re learning to real life. Whether it’s solving equations, writing strong answers, or exploring how the world works, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. My Approach as a Teacher and How I Share My Knowledge 1. Teaching Techniques and Methods My teaching is built around clarity, curiosity and connection. I combine traditional methods with modern strategies to ensure deep understanding and engagement. Some of my core techniques include: Concept-Based Learning: I focus on building strong foundational concepts before moving to applications. I use analogies, real-life examples and visuals to make abstract ideas relatable. Interactive Questioning: Rather than just lecturing, I ask questions that guide students to discover answers themselves, promoting critical thinking. Differentiated Instruction: I tailor my teaching to match different learning styles. Scaffolded Learning: I break complex topics into manageable steps, gradually removing support as students gain confidence. Use of Technology: I integrate digital tools, simulations and videos to reinforce difficult concepts and enhance engagement. Regular Assessment and Feedback: Quick quizzes, open discussions and reflective feedback help track progress and refine teaching. 2. Usual Structure of a Class Each class follows a flexible but structured flow: Warm-up (5 mins): A quick recap or a short activity to activate prior knowledge. Introduction (5–10 mins): Present the objective of the class and explain the importance of the topic. Core Teaching (20–25 mins): Dive into the concept using explanations, examples and student participation. Practice/Activity (10–15 mins): Students apply what they’ve learned through guided exercises, discussions or small projects. Reflection & Q&A (5–10 mins): Clarify doubts, summarize key takeaways and provide feedback or homework. 3. Special Features as a Teacher Empathy and Patience: I make students feel safe to make mistakes and learn from them. Cross-Disciplinary Approach: I often relate subjects like math or science to philosophy, history or psychology to make lessons richer and more interconnected. Focus on Confidence-Building: I design activities that celebrate small wins to build self-esteem especially in struggling learners.
