About Navya
I am an IB Diploma Programme graduate who achieved a final score of 42/45, with Higher Level subjects in Economics, Mathematics, and History, and Standard Level subjects in English, Hindi, and Biology. I am currently studying Economics at University of Manchester. Teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy. Even while studying on my own, I often find myself explaining concepts aloud as if I were teaching someone else. Through my own academic journey, I have experienced firsthand the difference a great teacher can make in shaping a student’s understanding, confidence, and interest in a subject. That is what motivates me to teach—I want to help students not only achieve strong results but also develop a genuine understanding of the concepts they are learning. For subjects I have mastered, I hope to be the kind of teacher who makes learning clear, engaging, and enjoyable.

My teaching approach is highly interactive and student-focused. I believe in making learning engaging, practical, and easy to understand through well-prepared materials, simple explanations, and creative tricks and mnemonics that help concepts stick. I encourage students to ask as many questions as they need and create a comfortable environment where no doubt is too small. During exam season, lessons are tailored towards exam-style preparation, effective revision strategies, and building confidence. More importantly, I focus on developing a strong rapport with each student so they feel comfortable seeking help and expressing their learning challenges. My goal is not just to help students achieve good grades, but to ensure they truly understand and enjoy what they are learning.
