About Sam
I'm a second year student in Human Sciences at the University of Oxford. My course is a mixture of life sciences and social sciences. I achieved a 2.i in Part I of the course, including in modules related to Biology specifically, and hence would be qualified to tutor in Biology up to A-level.
As a successful Oxford applicant, I would also be able to provide some support with Oxbridge applications, particularly with regard to writing personal statements and interview practice in fields related to my own.

I will be giving tutorials to Biology students for GCSE and A-level. My availability is currently flexible and I will liaise with students to determine when best works for them. I am an enthusiastic tutor and will adapt my teaching strategies to best suit the needs of those I'm working with. However, I will ensure that my teaching corresponds strictly to the syllabus of the exam the pupil will be sitting.
I hope to add interest to my lessons by using innovative revision techniques and by varying the media through which ideas are presented. As a language enthusiast, I often make use of effective spatial memorisation techniques, which will be used in the classes, and can be incredibly enjoyable!
