HSPT - Patient, Creative and Effective Tutor for All Cities, All Ages, All Skill Levels

Matthew is a great tutor. He assisted me Math for ASVAB which is an entrance exam for the Military. He helped me refresh my math skills. Not only did he do a good job teaching me the material he also taught me in a way that I would be able to remember everything. He is also very flexible and definely cares about his students!

I am a junior and I had a very bad ACT score that I needed to improve significantly. Matt came and helped me as soon as I contacted him. Unlike other tutors, Matt took me seriously and clearly understood I wanted help with my ACT score. Matt was very patient with me and treated me like a teacher would treat his or her student. I take the ACT tomorrow and unlike the first time I took it, I'm not nervous at all. I'm very confident Matt's techniques helped me, and I suggest anyone who is looking for ACT help to contact Matt.

I am pleased to give Matthew the highest endorsement for his professionalism, his skills and approach to individualized tutoring. My son just completed a number of sessions of ACT tutoring with Matthew. They worked hard together during the session and he provided suggestions for work in between sessions. From the initial conversation we had on the phone, I could tell that Matthew understood the nuances of the exam and the need to tailor coaching content and style to each student's particular needs. Matthew's correspondence with me was always prompt, clear, and respectful of my time and my son's time. While we do not yet have his new test results back, we know that my son went into the test more knowledgeable, more thoughtful, and more confident as a result of Matthew's work with him. We are grateful to have found him!

Matthew was great, very professional and efficient. We were having a little trouble in the beginning and he was very patient, and helped us get the video chat all set up. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone.

Matt was very helpful with setting up my format for my research paper. He shared a lot of valuable information with me that could be used in the future while writing my essays and papers. Matt is very patient and very understanding to my situation. Thanks for all your help!

My son Andre is a junior at Brecksville/Broadview Hts. high school He needed help with a video project in Sociology. I contacted Matt and he came by and immediately jumped right in and helped him get the project done in one evening. He also was very calm and patient with Andre while helping him organize an English research paper that was due the next day. I admire his calm proficient manner and expertise in English literature and excellent assistance in writing research papers.

Matt is wonderful. He is tutoring both of my elementary school children and they really like him a lot. He takes his time with the children and gives them both his full attention. As a working single mother, my schedule can be hectic. Matt is very flexible with his schedule and very accommodating with changes in my plans week to week and I truly appreciate that! I am excited to see how the kids will do this next grading period with Matt helping them, because I already see a little more confidence in their approach to schoolwork. I highly recommend Matt as a tutor, he's professional and a pleasure to work with.

I did 2 sessions with Matt while I was home in preparation for my GMAT, which is in 3 weeks. We focused on the quantitative section, which was the weak spot on my first test. Matt’s familiarity with the GMAT (both the Verbal and Math section) was evident in the first few minutes of sitting down with him. Probably even more important, given my time constraint, was Matt’s ability to quickly identify my specific problem areas (integer / geometric properties & time management on data sufficiency problems) and come up with a game plan to improve them. Matt’s teaching style helped solidify key concepts by having me walk him through my thinking on problems and correcting me only when I veered off path. This approach worked for me. After the second session, I took a practice test and my math score improved substantially. I would recommend Matt to anyone who’s serious about boosting their GMAT score.
